I have to giggle at this. I was reading some news this morn and spotted this in an article that talked about movies, especially popular ones, which are encouraging teenagers to read. The author included an excerpt from the "Variety" magazine about Twilight.
Variety said it "should satiate the pre-converted but will bewilder and underwhelm viewers who haven't devoured Stephenie Meyer's bestselling juvie chick-lit franchise."This is not the nicest thing to say, but one has to marvel at the use of language in what looks like to be a critical review.
