Jul. 24th, 2008 05:59 pmI was chatting to one of the Danish guys about various stuff and the subject of uniforms came up. I mentioned that most schools in South Africa require uniforms, whilst the schools in Denmark do not. Then I took a quick flight down the memory lane and tried to describe the uniform I used to wear back when USSR existed.
Hmm, I have to be honest, those were awful uniforms.

The above pic is for the younger students. The older students have a very similar design, but wear the red Soviet Pioneer tie.
Mostly, at the older grade level, the uniforms are similar to those worn at the lower level, the pic above the text is only for the formal occasions. On normal days it is the hideous brown dress with a black apron and the white collar and the more special occasions the apron would be white.
As you can see below, the first grade was very important.
